Welcome to Florist Cockfosters. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online flower delivery services available across Cockfosters and the surrounding areas. By placing an order with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. These terms are designed to ensure the smooth fulfilment of your orders, the clarity of your rights and obligations, and the efficient resolution of any issues that may arise.
Florist Cockfosters offers a selection of floral arrangements for delivery within Cockfosters and the surrounding regions. All online orders are subject to availability and the acceptance of your order in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Product Selection: Browse our online catalogue and select the flower arrangements and related products you wish to order. Detailed descriptions and, where possible, images accompany each product to assist your choice.
2. Order Submission: After adding your chosen items to the basket, proceed to checkout. You will be required to provide delivery information, your contact details, and payment information. Please ensure all details are accurate and complete to avoid delays.
3. Order Confirmation: Once you have completed the checkout process, you will receive an on-screen confirmation and an order reference number. An email acknowledging receipt of your order will be sent using the details you have provided. Please note, this acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
4. Order Acceptance: Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between us will occur when we dispatch the products to you, at which time a confirmation of dispatch will be sent. If, for any reason, your order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and issue a refund if payment has already been taken.
5. Delivery: Flower deliveries are available across Cockfosters and surrounding areas. Delivery dates and options will be specified during checkout and are subject to availability. While we make every effort to deliver on the specified date, delivery times cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak periods or adverse conditions. We encourage recipients to be available at the delivery address provided; if not, we will follow any alternative instructions you may have given during the order process (e.g., leaving the flowers with a neighbour or in a safe place).
1. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods as indicated on our website at checkout. You must have authority to use the payment method provided.
2. Prices: All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude applicable delivery charges, which are clearly outlined prior to completing your purchase.
3. Payment Process: Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. Orders will not be processed or dispatched until full payment is received and cleared.
4. Errors and Omissions: While we take every care to ensure accuracy, should there be an error in pricing or product description, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund, or offer you an alternative option before fulfilling the order.
1. Amendments: If you wish to change your order (e.g., delivery date, recipient details, or product choice), contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We will accommodate changes wherever possible, provided your order has not already been prepared or dispatched. During peak periods, amendments may not be possible due to high demand and quick processing times.
2. Cancellations: Should you wish to cancel your order, please do so as promptly as possible. Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if the cancellation request is received and processed before the arrangement has been created or dispatched. Once flowers have been prepared or sent out for delivery, cancellations may not be possible due to the perishable nature of the product, and charges may apply.
3. Statutory Rights: Your statutory rights are not affected. For all perishable goods such as flowers, the usual 14-day cooling-off period does not apply pursuant to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Occasionally, circumstances may arise where specific flowers or containers are unavailable. In such cases, we reserve the right to substitute items with similar products of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall style, colour and quality of your chosen arrangement. If a major substitution is required, we will attempt to contact you using the details provided at the time of order.
We deliver flowers within Cockfosters and select surrounding areas as displayed at checkout. Orders received during business hours are processed promptly and delivered on the date specified by you, subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure or extreme weather conditions, we will make reasonable endeavours to inform you of any delay and arrange an alternative solution where possible.
Deliveries are generally made to the address provided by you. If the recipient is not present, we will follow your instructions where provided, or leave the arrangement in a safe location, or attempt to deliver to a neighbour. A delivery note will be left to let the recipient know where the flowers have been left.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery details, contact information, and any special instructions at the time of ordering. Florist Cockfosters cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries arising from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer. Please check all recipient data before confirming your order.
Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, returns are only accepted in case of damaged or defective goods delivered. Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery if your order has not arrived in satisfactory condition. We may request photographic evidence to facilitate any refund or replacement.
If your claim is valid, we will offer you a full refund or replacement, as appropriate. Refunds are processed using the same payment method used to place the original order. This does not affect your statutory rights.
While we strive to provide high-quality arrangements and an excellent delivery service, Florist Cockfosters cannot be held liable for:
